Some CAESAR II user reported a “grayed out” issue on the “Piping Input” icon displayed on the main toolbar.
When the Piping Input window is still open, it is normal that the CAESAR II main toolbar is grayed out. Sometimes, when opening the main CAESAR II window, could take some time to get the “Piping Input” button available.
But sometimes the main toolbar get stuck on a “all grayed out” condition. This makes impossible to press the “Piping Input” button.
Here it is a very simple solution to fix this issue.
- Open the Windows Task Manger (Ctrl + Alt + Delete)
- Open the “Processes” tab
- Search for the “Prepipe.exe” process
- Abort “Prepipe.exe”.
The CAESAR II main toolbar will be now immediately available and the “Piping Input” button working.
